Need a quick and easy breakfast that’s bound to put a smile on your family (or guest) faces in the morning?  Pineapple Up-Side Down Biscuits is a quick and easy breakfast and only cost an average of $4.50 at most grocery stores for the ingredients.  Enjoy!  My family sure did!

 

Pineapple Up-Side Down Biscuits

Ingredients
  • 1 8 oz can pineapple (crushed) drained (reserve juice)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (any kind)
  • 10 maraschino cherries
  • 1 tube buttermilk biscuits
Instructions
  1. Combine pineapple, sugar, butter and nuts; mix well.
  2. Spray 10 muffin cups with non-stick spray;
  3. Place a cherry in the bottom of each muffin cup.
  4. Divide pineapple mixture evenly among the cups.
  5. Place one biscuit in each cup on top of pineapple mixture.
  6. Spoon one teaspoon of reserved pineapple juice over each biscuit.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden.
  8. Cool for 2 minutes. Invert pan over plate to release biscuits.
  9. Serve warm. Makes 10.
