Have you ever needed to take a dessert to a function but you didn’t really have much time to bake?  Or just wanted to make a special treat for your family but again, not much time?  Well, have we got a treat for you.  This Peach Cobbler Cake taste like you spent lots of time on it but really, its fast and easy.  It’s base ingredient is a yellow cake mix.  Throw in a few other simple ingredients and there you have it.  Don’t be fooled by all the steps in the recipe below.  They are very fast and easy and most of the ingredients you probably already have at home.  Enjoy!  You can find lots of other delicious and easy recipes on our website at

Peach Cobbler Cake
  • 1 box yellow cake mix divided use
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • ⅔ cup warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cans peach pie filling
  • ½ cup cold butter cubed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (32 oz)
  • 3½ Tbsp milk
  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Spray 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Measure out 2 cups of the cake mix. Put aside the leftover cake mix for the crumble topping.
  4. In a mixing bowl combine the 2 cups of cake mix, flour and yeast. Stir until combined.
  5. Pour in warm water and stir well.
  6. Add eggs and stir. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  7. Work to spread the mixture into prepared baking dish.
  8. Next, spread both cans of pie filling on top of cake batter as evenly as possible.
  9. In a bowl, combine the rest of the cake mix with the butter using either a pastry cutter or fork. It will be lumpy.
  10. Sprinkle topping mixture over the pie filling.
  11. Bake for 45-55 minutes. Topping should appear golden brown.
  12. Allow the cake to cool for 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, in a bowl, combine powdered sugar and milk. Start with a small amount of milk, adding more until it gets to the desired consistency of icing.
  13. Drizzle icing over top of cake.
